Hope was a tireless media advocate. As a journalist, filmmaker, and editor herself, she endeavored to provide balance and fairness in the media.
In the mid-90s she began consulting to socially responsible companies and nonprofit organizations to help them garner media recognition and raise the visibility of important issues.
Her work resulted in the placement of scores of articles and television reports locally and nationally Her clients included Give Something Back Office Supplies, Great Nonprofits, Juma Ventures, the Center for AIDS Services, Mal Warwick and Associates,Scientific Learning Corporation, and many more.
She was also a media spokesperson. As a SheSource.org health expert, Lori was made available to news media as an authority on health care. Developed by The White House Project, the Women’s Funding Network, and Fenton Communications, SheSource.org is dedicated to “closing the gender gap in news media” by providing women experts on diverse topics to journalists, producers and bookers who need female guests and sources.
