Lori Hope is not only the author of the Amazon.com top cancer support book, Help Me Live: 20 Things People with Cancer Want You to Know, and a journalist whose works has been featured on the Oprah show and in other prominent media, she is also a very popular public speaker. Her presentations about hope and compassionate and caring communication, as well as her talks about smoking addiction and cessation and the stigma of lung cancer, have been described as galvanizing, and Hope has been called, "…passionate, candid, down-to-earth, witty."
